Agriculture programs often involve credit that allows farmers to introduce new crops or improve efficiency. CCA works with agriculture co-operatives to help link products from the developing world to larger markets. In Central America most of CCA's work touches on agriculture production.
Food security is an area of activity that takes in both agriculture and basic human needs. In Ghana and Uganda, CDF has supported CCA's project that have worked with small scale famers to introduce soybean production. The result is improved nutrition for farm families, and for other people in the project areas.
